Neuroinclusive Leadership

Enabling every mind to thrive

Thinking deliberately about thinking differently

Equipping modern leaders with the mindsets and behaviours to create environments where everyone — neurodivergent or neurotypical — can think, communicate and contribute at their best. Grounded in our proven behavioural framework, the programme shifts from neurodiversity awareness to neuroinclusive action in the everyday moments that matter: in meetings, in 1:1s, during feedback, and when decisions are made.

Behaviours of NeuroInclusive Leadership

A framework forged alongside leading organisations, offering behavioural focus and practical experimentation throughout. Participants benchmark themselves against these five behaviours at the outset — building their toolkit to flex and finesse them further throughout.

The programme encourages participants to proactively apply neuroinclusive approaches to key moments that matter in the employee experience. From onboarding and early conversations, to team meetings and 1-1s — the goal is increasing a felt sense of psychological safety in the flow of work, so that everyone feels included and able to thrive.

The programme and all its tools, resources, scenarios and evidence-based workplace adjustments are shaped by subject experts and the continually generous guidance of neurodivergent people. Shared below are some short films from our learning library, in which digital product studio Ustwo co-founder Matt Miller shares a first person perspective of receiving an ADHD diagnosis and talking about it in his team; and with HR and neurodiversity specialist Dr. Anne Cockayne in conversation with Lexi Keegan about how autistic strengths can be applied and supported at work.

YCN helped us to benchmark neuroinclusive confidence across our manager community — and then share practical tools to enhance the quality of conversations across all of our environments. And you've motivated them to sustain these conversations continuously.
